Because they gotta have their property taxes ffs. So you're a lot younger than me, try putting away 6k a year. After 5 years that's 30k and you can buy some cheap land out in the boonies. And this is going to be a hard, hard life. But I'm trying to do the same thing so I hope you get somewhere.
