It only shoots 300fps. You definitely don't want this to take down any animals. This is a single-pump, not even like the Crosman 760 I posted where you can pump it 10 times to get 700fps+.
300fps is strictly for plinking empty beer cans at <20yds. I have a co2 pistol that shoots close to 400fps, and I remember one day my friend was probably 30yds away with a winter jacket on and I took a few shots at him. Dumb decision, but they just bounced off. 300fps might stun a sparrow if you get a head shot at 10yds, but that's about it.
You definitely want 700fps+. Even if you look at stuff like that Crosman 760 Pumpmaster, that will shoot pellets and bb's and will be exponentially more powerful at 700fps+ because physics (energy= mass x veloc^2)
tl:dr; that gun isn't good for anything beside plinking. It is basically a toy. Glad you haven't bought it yet.
