>>2229959Cold dessert nights doesn't say much to me since I live in the sub arctics but we deal with cold weather by having a tent that has quite air tight fabric and construction since that helps create a better climate zone on the inside compared to the outside. Lavvu and Savotta tents seem to be the latest big thing here among the hikers who like misery but I haven't tried them personally yet, tho I don't think its necessary since I've always survived any shelter/weather condition as long as I've had roof over my head and a thick sleeping bag (or just my ruck and a jacket).
