I ditched my MSR stove and got a $18 butane cook top. Its cheaper to run and runs way hotter. Too hot for my soloist cookset made of stainless. So I'll buy a proper non stick pan and pot with lids. I bought a Marmot Trestle 0 synthetic bag. Bulky but I'm not walking anywhere with it. You will see my tent packed up. Its a 5000mm top and tub water proof hikers tent at 1.3kg packed up. I'll post a pic of it set up. I'm going to sell it.
I found my p 7.2 led lenser isnt ideal. A head torch would be better car camping. I found I need 2 or 3 storage tubs maybe. To store my food in one say 20ltr, small bits and pieces like toothbrush and batteries etc etc in 5ltr, a pull tight bag for dirty clothes.
I store things like my goretex clothes and laptop on my front passenger seat. I keep my contact lenses in the middle console because I hate losing that shit. Moisture on the inside in the morning can be bad and its about 5c in the morning. I need to buy a chamois or microfiber to wipe it down.
What do I eat? Everything. But I need a chilly bin to keep things under 4c.
