Okay, coming from someone who has never been trapping, this is a serious post.
First of all, if you are using traps that are immediaterly (or quickly) lethal, ignore this post.
If not, why do you do it? Imagine the suffering the animal goes through. I'm no hippy fag, but i have a deep respect for all life on Earth. I believe you only hunt if you plant to utilize most/all parts of your game, you never deface/ damage a cave your in, etc. But trapping an animal and having it suffer until you come along and shoot it while it is stuck there it, i think, cowardly. Especially big game. I saw a picture where a bobcat was trapped and thought "What? Could the coward not hunt it?"
I understand if your life depends on it, that is a whole different story. But if you have a computer with internet access, your lives do not depend on it.
