For years now I've had a romanticised idea that "going back to nature" would save me from this torture. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my escapism but when I turn everything off at night and think about existence it all rings hollow. I don't want to be a wagie and have friends and socialise, I just want to be alone in the wilderness. My eating and escapism is how I cope with the emptiness of life, but it's stopping me from reaching any kind of inner peace being /out/ would give me. How do I break the cycle?
