>>2545098yeah esox flies can be tricky. tying with synthetics has helped me a lot, though some of my 12 inch beast flies have literal egg sinkers in them to make them sink, i think my heaviest ones are half an ounce. i hit myself in the back with one of those when a sudden gust of wind caught me off gaurd, it was not nice.
