+ safer to use when it's drout
+ safe/discrete to use in places where you cant make fire because of reasons (last week I used esbit stove to cook water for tea on a beach full of people)
- twigs burn out fery fast so you have to feed the stove constantly, unlike with regular fire
- yet another piece of junk to haul with you, regardless how light & small it is
