OP here, I was looking into getting some lightweight cooking gear for backpacking. A friend of mine who plans to go backpacking with me is a cullinarian and says he'll carry all the cooking stuff if I carry tools (axe, saw, knife, etc...) but I think it'd be wise to have at least something of my own just in case we get separated.
