Currently wondering if I should cull my entire crop of winter squash and replace them with watermelon or tomatoes. Both of these are grown en masse where I live, so they do well and this picture is proof. The watermelon and squash are in the same bed, but the watermelon is growing well, while the squashes all look like shit. Only one of the plants even got big; the rest of them that have been in the bed for weeks haven't even grown an inch and are all sickly yellow. Anyone else have issues with something like this? Am I wasting garden space by keeping them in the beds?
