>>300523The starter pot is a 'Jiffy Pot' and is made of pressed Peat I believe. They are super cheap ($1.58 for 14 with a 3.5" diameter) at Wal Mart. They are a bit thinner than egg carton material but feel like the egg packaging a bit/also like paper mache and are biodegradeable/you transplant them into the soil along with the plant when its ready. In my previous picture, thats one tomato plant inside the 3.5" peat pot. It will be another 3-4 weeks before its time to put the tomato plant outside.
