While STALKER was all roaming and looting for players, there were many NPCs who maintained bases (paramilitary bases, gang hideouts, stalker bases, active science labs, etc). That alone can have various factions, tasks, and such that would be STALKER based. That may include creating a base, maintaining a base, guarding a base, getting people to join your base, or even getting people to trade with your base and hand out rewards for completed quests. All depending on the size and type of base of course.
