In garden news, very exciting news from my little paradise. This doesn't look like much now, but those little dark knobs are premature flowerheads growing on my pawpaw, which means next year it is finally going to flower! I have nurtured this tree for five years now from being one tiny seedling in one of the few spots wild pawpaw grow around here. In the wild here they mostly get eaten by squirrels long before being ready and it's a bit of a journey to get there so I've only had them like that a handful of times. Finally having them grow for myself is a real thrill, it's such an amazing fruit.
