>>1851263Started end of August in the black forest/Germany. Followed the Danube to Passau, Linz, Vienna, Bratislava to Budapest. Sleeping in stables, forests, abandoned houses, you name it. Had to return to Germany from Budapest by bus in mid October, then bus to hummene/svk, nice forests in the outskirts of the Carpathian mountains. Into Ukraine, there mostly bus and train for country to huge to hike through. All the way to Mariupol, pic related. Dangerous sleeping place. Then Romania.
TL;DR: through Germany, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania.
Followed the Danube for it's great nature with plenty larger cities to get some rest and social contacts
