Well guys, I think the hour grows dire for my lime tree.
I posted here about a month or so ago perhaps with concern for the health of my tree, so here are the updates since then.
I bought a 5 W LED grow light and have been lighting the tree (very direct beam so I can only get half of the remaining leaves, so I rotate it daily) for 12 hours a day or so.
It keeps dropping leaves (~1 or 2 per day for an entire month now), and the leaves that are left look disfigured somehow, which I'll show in my next pic. As you can see, there's barely any leaves left on the whole tree, about 80% less than when I bought it over christmas.
I heavily water about bi-weekly when the soil starts to feel quite dry, and the last time I watered I mixed in a citrus plant fertilizer.
I've check for mites, and I can't see anything as far as I can tell. The leaves don't change colors or curl, they just fall off.
Since putting the grow light on the tree I've noticed 3 new shoots (?) of leaves coming off of the branches, which I am assuming is a good sign.
I apologize for the shitty low light, my copy of Lightroom expired so I can't fuck with the exposure or crop.
Any advice for what I should do? Is this bad?
Thanks in advance.
