General gearlist for my Appalachian Trail Thru-hike:
Pack: Some kelty shit 40 liter bag I got for free
Shelter: 1 ultralight tarp 8'x10'
Sleeping bag: REI Igneo 19 degree F (duck down, water resistant, weighed under 2 lbs)
Sleeping pad: z-lite torso length pad
Stove: some snowpeak ultralight thing I won in a raffle, sent it home along with my cooking pot
Clothes: 1 pair running shorts, one button up synthetic shirt, one set of lightweight base-layers (top and bottom), 2 sets of smart-wool socks, outdoor research rain jacket of some sort [one arcteryx down jacket and one pair synthetic hiking pants, one pair of fleece gloves (had these sent out once fall hit)]
Shoes: Chacos sandals
First aid: some band-aids (like 3 of them), neosporin
Knife: had some little ultralight fixed blade neck-knife thing I lost, never used it anyways
Misc: some stuff sacks, stuff like that
That is it as far as gear goes. Might be forgetting something but I don't think so.
Most of the actual weight I carried was in luxary items.
