Lingmell (pictures above) and Scafell Pike I felt where some of the easier summits. Other routes and summits, such as the great gable and the corridor I found to be precipitous with lots of loose rock. The ascent to Lingmell from Wasdale Head I felt was much more pleasant despite being extremely wet and mostly bog. I wore sandals and I didn’t have waterproof boots.
