>>2306365also some tips i can give you for your first time
-take some bug spray with you, you will know why when you go /out/ the first time
-take a tent or hammock with a bug net with you and keep it always closed, else the bug will wait for you in your tent/hammock which makes it worse than sleeping directly under the stars
-keep your food 50 to 100 yards away from you, it will keep animals at distance
-animals don't like humans which means the will try to avoid you anyway
-to avoid humans search for a good hidden spot camouflage your tent and take some kind of weapon with you for psychological support
-don't use bright lights at night because it can be seen for miles and scare the animals around you. Remember you're the guest in the Forrest which mean take at least some unwritten wildlife rules serious. for example don't act like a city idiot in the middle of the night, the animals will thank you for it
-keep your shoes in your tent or in some kind of bag else you will pick out snails in the morning if you live in the norther hemisphere
-90% of all steps you hear at night are deer and critters, you will learn over time to ignore or even enjoy them.
-the other 10% are rapists, serial killers or skinnwalkes which mean certain death anyway
iv'e slept way over 100 times in the Forrest (norther Europe) at night, and except some brave and curious deer, critters and foxes i was never bothered at night.
sleeping in the /out/ will be one of the best sleeps you will ever have, just try it
