It's not much really, but I take a bit of pride in my nature recordings, and have been featured on various sound recording society pages as well as BBC, Australian Geographic, and National Geographic social media pages. More than that though lots of people engage on my youtube and soundcloud channels either with an appreciation for the content or wanting to learn to go /out/ and record their local /out/door environments. Photography has a massive impact over the last ~100 years in conservation and appreciation of wilderness and wildlife and I think recordings can have some impact as well.
