>>272529hey man,
you might want to conciser an alternative to a tent. maybe a bivvy sac. if you are going to set up a camp a fair distance into the bush it is much more concealable, also carrying it with you is not as big of a deal. tents tend to be large and cumbersome and in the $100 range they kind-of suck.
bivy it up man, it keeps the heat closer to you. check a milsurp store. Some of the military bags come with a outer waterproof shell that is essentially a Bivouac (read: bivvy) sack and should be cheaper there than at a hiking shop supply store. you'll want to check both though as hiking stores some times have really good protein bars for like a dollar. the primary problem with bivvy sacks is keeping the moisture down. so keep you head out and wear few enough layers not to sweat in your sleep but enough not to shiver as it will waste calories.
Also buy a can of cat food (squeeze a few to get a durable can...) and a hole punch (office supply) so you can make this make this:

In an urban environment you CANNOT have a fire, so now you can cook with gas-line antifreeze/denatured alcohol/everclear/. Most gas stations will have something that is flammable enough to burn in these stoves for about a dollar.
If you have time check out Dave Canterbury you tube channel on how to butcher small game.
Apologies if any of this is excessively obvious to you, i felt a need to cover the basics rather than omit something. Also if you can grab some .pdf's of survival books it might come in handy?
