>>2735802I trespass a lot all around where I live: canal roads, rural gentrified meadows, quarries, you name it. It's actually better training for hiking to climb up boulders underneath bridges or down-climbing berms near railroads than just running around suburbs.
The only real rule I have is to be like a ghost, nobody should ever really know that I wandered where I did. If they see footprints a couple days later, then I guess I get to be like a cryptid to them.
I will say though, it is the current year, I suspect a lot of people have game cams now. I squeezed through a chain link fence into this 15 acre strand of trees with my dogs, then saw fresh chain and new "no trespassing" sign maybe 4 days later.
