I'm about to plant seeds in trays soon. These are the, "Ecuadorean fastigiata pin striped," peanuts from last season's garden (left) and store bought (right). Now that I know more about how they grow I'm hoping to do far better this season than last season with them. One stark difference between the store bought and home grown are the shells. The store bought shells are super thin and easy to shell with my fingers. The home grown shells are really thick and I need to use a pair of pliers to crack them open.
>>1463232Nice! I ordered some American lotus which I can hopefully grow in my pond. I just went through my seed bank for stuff I plant tomorrow. Seems I'm missing 2018's tomatillo seeds, but I have 2017's season. At least they grow like weeds and ones from 2018 will be popping up literally everywhere on their own in the gardens.
