>>904862hali's swim all over the place and all over the water column. its when they are mating they settle into dips. croakers make good live bait, lings eat em' just not off the pier there because not many predators cruising through. smaller live mac as bait will get you bit from the pier easier. hali's striper ect will eat live macs.
also dont eat croakers bro. mercury is high on them here.. if you want to then eat the younger smaller ones, less time alive means less parasites and low merc levels.
