Alright, I just got back.
Here's the rod I just got, mine's on the left.
I also got a tackle box, some top and bottom rattlers, and some jig heads. In total it was $140,which was under my budget of 150 but I probably got jewed into getting more than I needed. The guy at the shop said that pic related rod would be better for covering all the bases. I probably got jewed but at least it's lightweight.
Anyway, I'm REALLY excited to get out onto the lake! I need to find out how to get up my line (they strung it for me, but I need to line it up through the rings) and tie some knots.
What else should I watch to prepare for tomorrow?
