>>2052748Triple crowners almost entirely agree the AT is tougher than the PCT. The underfoot conditions on the PCT are much smoother than the AT. You've got proper switch backs and smooth trail. The AT was drawn up by some idiots who figured going striaght up stuff was the best way, and having you walking over roots and rocks for days.
The PCT doesn't need ladders as they have you on smooth horse graded trail the whole time.
