Fucking net always gets barbs stuck in it when unhooking the fish.
Debarbed the hook to remove it from the net.
Hooked up with something (likely not a carp) that kept giving me headshakes, tossed to barbless hook with ease once we hit the weed bed.
Put on a barbed hook
Ran out of chum
Got one more pickup, but the fish dropped it almost instantly.
Barbless hooks are tricky in weeds with soft mouthed fish.
Also holy fuck did it rain.
Still in the low 50's. Water is getting down to about 50 degrees.
