>>1240581I don't know exactly what the fabric is like on those jackets/packs, but you could try treating it to waterproof it better. I have one of the memetarn bundesmeme jackets and I waxed it with great results. It takes more effort and is less effective than silicone spray, but I wanted to try it out and wasn't disappointed- smells like bees wax, and the jacket stiffens & darkens some. As for silicone spray, you could turn a bucket hat into a water proof bucket with one spray. I love that shit too.
