Well, a pellet gun is a cool thing, but i would avoid taking it with me for a trip longer than 1 day bcs it's heavy and not worth it. What can you take down with it? Only small birds and mammals. I wolud definitely prefer to have a slingshot like one in picture with me. It's smaller, weights less and ammo is available everywhere. I believe that slingshot can deliver more powerful blow in hands os someone strong, bcs missile is much heavier. The only inferiority of slingshot, comparing to pellet gun is accuracy in hands of unskilled shooter. I really doubt that your BOB needs something as big, heavy, dependant on CO2 and ammo, and with such little firepower as pellet gun.
