>>355677No, never backpacked, I race mountain bikes so I prefer to ride into the middle of nowhere then ride back to electricity and sometimes a shower. There's plenty of remote areas you can drive to in a 4wd if being in the boons is important, if I was going somewhere just to camp I would just go onto some dirt roads/trails in a national forest and camp wherever, I get stuck in campgrounds since I normally am camping before/after races
