>>2153366I've been doing some reading and it seems that snakeheads actually coexist with other fish in the ecosystem, including bass. Both inhabit different parts of the waterbody so they don't bother each other too much. And in the Potomac River and Chesapeake Basin snakeheads were found to have a population boom when they were first introduced but then decreased in number, and now are just another of the several predatory fish they have there.
