I happened upon this one day. This was in my childhood woods, way off about 30min further than the furthest I ever ventured as a kid. I was staying with the parents for awhile a couple years back and worked-up the courage to go exploring into the dark murky depth of the forest that we used to avoid and we called "coyote territory". I startled the everlasting fuck out of me the moment I saw the grille looking right at me.

It's all locked shut but it's full of vintage beer bottles and trash, there's an old fire pit near it so I'm guessing back in the 80s or 90s kids used to party there. Surely no whore's gold or dead bodies involved. But maybe next time I'm visiting the folks I'll go back and look, just for you

I guess it's not terribly strange but I walked upon this one day in my childhood woods. It was way off in a weird direction that I never explored as a kid. There was clearly an old logging road that had overgrown for about 25-30 years and you could have to cut trees down and clear the way to even drag it out. Clearly totally abandoned sometime in the 80s. Can't explain why but it spooped me right the fuck out when I spotted it right before me.

found it abandoned on a long walk i took through what in colonial times was called the old "cedar meadow" in the woods around my house on a warm indian summer day. now it's the creepiest most blair witchy forest around, and still has gnarly boney old stands of cedar trees that completely blackout the forest floor in spots. comfy if not somewhat confronting.

Today I came across an old Ford Bronco in the woods. Tt's sitting on what used to be a logging or fireroad, but it's all eroded and overgrown now. Nobody lives on this plot of land, so I have no idea who owns the land or whose truck it is. The inspection sticker on the windshield is from 2002. The area directly behind the Bronco is littered with tattered trash and beer cans that look like they've been there for several years. Spoop'd me right the fuck out when I saw it brooding over me.
