>>1413575>Fuck, missed that by a few years, do people give rides to hikers or is something that hardly happens? Also does the cops bother you if you sleep at a bus stop?Really depends, you can get lucky, especially in the countryside, but on average Switzerland is meh tier for tramping.
Sleeping on the bus stop is nod advisable, urban or municipal area is not for sleeping. However you can always pitch your tent in the middle of the forest out of sight for a night or ask a farmer for permission on his land. In the mountains it is good form to camp above tree line and keep away from the various wildlife and game reservations and out of sight from all nearby buildings and trails. If there is an Alp, say hi and ask the local cow poke if and where it is ok for you to camp.
If you fuck it up and get jammed in the dark or by the weather, it is ok when you emergency hunker down on the trail, but don't make a habit out of it and pack up with the first light.
Keep away from mother cows with calves, they are dangerous.
