If you are around salt water, you will still have to take care of it, look for ones with a coated blade, and after you get back from the trip, just put a little mineral oil on it from time to time. Consider something like an Ontario Rat.
Some people may recommend the Spyderco Salt series with rust proof blades, but there is a price and performance hit for that.
