When my current wife and I first started dating, our first /out/ adventure was a short backpacking trip to the Red River Gorge. We setup camp on the middle of this scary exposed overlook called Hanson's Point and fucked under the stars. It was epic, but it did get cold and windy at about 5am, so I would not recommend.
