A gift is a gift... but the products come across as BG fanboy items marketed to survival mall ninjas more than legitimate tools.

Gerber makes some good stuff. I carried a Gerber folder for years before I bought a Kershaw. But BG stuff is proven garbage if you are actually using it in the field.

Plus if you do some googling you will find that some well known survivalist have advised people away from using his knife. They have numerous videos of them falling apart in the field on them.

Do a Google search and you will find 100s of pictures of BG stuff that failed in the field. This stuff is billed as survival gear by a big name and it is just as phony as his TV show.

That is why people don't buy BG stuff. It's garbage....
