>>2130353All batteries (even lithium types) will eventually go bad after too many discharge/recharge cycles but it depends on the type of battery; a standard car batter is designed for a high load over a very short duration and if discharged too often below 10%, it’ll go bad and not hold a charge. A lead-acid deep-cycle battery can be discharged below 30% safely and an AGM battery well below 50% without issues.
