This is the flower and plant that actually grew and I’m surprised why the color and leaves are completely different. My first picture shows the parent plant, however, the progeny that came from those seeds has a completely different color (orange) and the leaves don’t even look the same. I’m hoping someone could give me insight on what happened, why the plants are so different, and if there is a way to ID or know what kind of plant I now have? I did see that Scabiosas can technically come in orange but when I noticed the leaves don’t even look alike, I’m completely lost at what happened or what plant I even have now….
