for the yearly moose hunt it's a mixed bag (heh) of things:
>6.5x55 Carl Gustav (Swedish Mauser)>mosquito repellent (thermacell and pine oil)>snacks>binoculars>maps>radio>rain coat>rubber boots>blanket>kerosene heater and/or firewood when the snow comes>knives (one for whittling, one for dressing)>TP>coffee>lots of other little things I probably forgotother than moose hunting I have a Tikka .222/12ga break-action combo and a Husqvarna sxs 16ga for birds. the local canada goose population will get a visit from saint .222 later this year
I plan on replacing the Carl Gustav with something modern due to safety concerns. I recently learned the M96 action isn't great. I'm leaning towards a bolt-action takedown in 6.5x55 or .308
>>2713831>bismuth handloadsI've been thinking of getting into handloading bismuth since I have to get into handloading anyway when my 16ga supply runs out. how is it compared to lead? what alloy do you use?
