>>1122395Life long Chicagoan here. As a city, Chicago is alright at best but this area has no /out/ for the most part. You have the Des Plaines river and Busse woods and a whole bunch of tinier parks but that's it pretty much.
Shawnee national park is amazing but that's on the opposite side of the state. At least Chicago and Joliet have some dope urbex spots... Unfortunately that's it really. I want to leave this place too, I'm just here until I can save up enough to gtfo.
