I've seen hundreds (maybe thousands) of dead bodies, but I think I'd still be shocked. If they were there for any length of time, I'd probably smell it before I spotted it - although I'd probably assume it was an animal.
I'd probably take some photos without getting too close. That's just what I do.
Without touching or taking anything, I'd take the quickest route back to cell phone coverage and alert the authorities.
