>>1045617You could probably do a M Lightning Rod too if you want. I have a similar setup, it's a 6' M Lightning Rod Shock with the Stratus V 25 and I'm running 10lb FlouroBraid on it. It's great for throwing 1/8oz lures but still strong enough to land any larger bass or sneks that might grab the bait. The M Lightning Rod isn't super fast, which is why I would say if you are going for finesse bass stuff and can't find the ML, you will be fine with a M.
Also that combo still amazes me because it has held up so well and feels way better than you would expect from a $70 combo.
