>>1958723Long johns over shorts, the look of the refined mountain man.
3.5oz fill, I forget what the shell material is. It's not got a hood, no pockets, and a half zip. It's very nice. I have an apex puffy from nunatak as well for wet places.
The seal skins and the merino liners saved that trip desu! I spent a lot more time in the snow then I had planned and the liner were a last minuet addition. But my feet were never too cold and stayed dry. When I had the microspikes on they squashed me big toe a little which meant it got a little cold, but that could have been avoided with a more rigid shoe.
>>1958859I think I've carried a stove one long hike in the last three years. I tend to eat cookless food and cold soak. I didn't cold soak on this trip as there were enough huts open to eat at least one hot meal a day.
>>1959463Thanks, it's a great a hike. Doing it out of season is awesome as well as it's quiet and if you time it right you can enjoy the huts in peace.
