Are rigid forks a pain in the ass for off-road bikepacking? I'm going to buy my first serious bike in a few weeks. Rigid monstercross-type 29er with good tire clearance and tubeless ready, made for bikepacking.
I guess I could still upgrade to a suspension fork in the future if I find it too harsh on rough terrain, but it should be okay right?
