Your employer pays for your share, you get a weekly load of fresh veggies, or biweekly. Maine farming is pretty solid, a lot of it ends up in local markets too. The "trust fund faggots moving here buying produce meme" is kind of bullshit sure it contributes to market share but it isn't the majority.
Large scale farms out number small farms and produce for Hannah Ford's, Shop and Stop and Market Basket.
The best job market in the state is for trades and this includes farming. There is no shortage of work, and due to demand for employees you can make good money with great incentives. It's garunteed solid work.
