>>2581136>t geographylet1/3rd of AZ is arid (including a huge portion of the northeast), another 1/3rd is semiarid biomes (including a large portion of the southeast), and another 1/3rd is temperate woodland and forest. The most forested and wettest area of AZ is actually central AZ (by latitude, it still gets called northern AZ regardless). It's not isolated to one small region either, you can drive literally 200+ miles one way in AZ through nothing but pic related interrupted by lakes, rivers, and meadows without leaving the Mogollon Rim. It's actually annoying to drive through because the speed limit is often quite slow so retards don't kill themselves hitting a 500lb elk or driving off a cliff at 90mph (they still do), and half of it closes in winter because of snow. Also none of it except designated sites need a permit to disperse camp, you can literally just walk off into the woods for dozens of miles.
