>>1196977red this is all you will ever need for pike. its that same bucktail tied in reverse. it's nice to have 200 den. veevus GSP because you can really flare the bucktail and get a nice tight hold on it, though it's annoyingly slippery so to get it started it really helps to put super glue on the shank and start your thread on the glue, then the slipperiness is a blessing and a curse for making the thread dam when reverse tying the bucktail bacause you have to super glue the front of the wraps to keep the gsp thread from slipping up over it's self but then it will slip behind it's self and kinda get under the bucktail and really make it super secure. it's the only fly i really tie for pike, though im sure a large craft fur baitfish or deciever would work too for hammer handles. these ones are about 6 inches and 8 inches
