>>300692Yeah I built it, with lots of help from friends. I bought the house and 3 acres for 25K. I tore off the additions, got it back to the original structure which was built sometime around 1901. I added on to the back, over the top of a small basement I had put in. The original ceiling height was like 11 feet and a tall attic. I installed floor joists at 8ft and made an upstairs without changing the roof line, making it a 1 and 1/2 story. Total I've got a little over 80K in it, about half of what it appraised for.
