The top of the mountain had been burnt down within the last year or two, but that let the wildflowers bloom, which was pretty neat.
On my way back down, I walked past a couple of hot springs. I saw a dude in the nude hiding behind a tree as he skulked up the horse trail, which I thought was pretty funny. I also saw some folks picking mushrooms, but I saw no one for the first 8 hours of my hike, which was awesome.
