Does anyone know how effective it is to spread spores in your local forests if you want to see more of a specific species grow? I finally found some lions mane growing off a dead sycamore tree. Last year I didn't have any luck and this was the first one I ever found, seems to be a rare species to find in my area. So I'm wondering, if I somehow got my hands on a bunch of spores could I spread them out in my woods to have more grow?
