I found my box of vegetable seeds in the garage earlier and here it is for reference. Everything just below of the Greenhouse is stuff that I want to plant:
-Japanese Cherry Blossom Tree Seeds (I’m thinking of planting one seed instead of Mimosa Hostilis/Jurema Tree since M. Hostilis can be invasive and I don’t want it to mess with the citrus trees. I have a space for one tree in the backyard where an older citrus tree was before it was cut because it was diseased and I think the flowers from the Cherry Blossom would be great for the bees)
-Ever Gold Raspberry Seeds
-Mimosa Hostilis
-Sweet Basil
-various Tomato varieties
-Cactus seeds (mixed variety)
-Green peppers
-Dill
-Carrots
-more tomatoes
Everything to the right of the essential planting stuff is just from when I bought the seeds 10 years ago (when you bought them in groups of 10, they were 10 cents each, otherwise you’d pay the sticker price). I had a box of flower seeds too but I don’t even know where it is so I’ll need to buy the seeds for the flowers and herbs I want to grow. Just at the bottom are two soil testing kits I found in the shed earlier which will be PERFECT for testing the garden bed and determining how to prepare it!
As far as tomatoes, I’m thinking I’ll do the following:
-2 Supersteak Hybrid VFN
-2 Roma
-2 Big Boy Hybrid
-2 Heatwave II Hybrid
-2 Super Beefsteak
I can do a large plastic planter where I'll put two of each; Large Red Cherry and Fourth of July Hybrid plants along with Sweet Basil.
